Edward es una jirafa insegura y tímida que se avergüenza de su cuello. Piensa que es demasiado largo, demasiado estrecho, demasiado flexible… en definitiva le parece ridículo. Según él ningún otro animal tiene un cuello tan «absurdo». Ha intentado disfrazarlo de muchas formas, ocultarlo estratégicamente detrás de arbustos… Realmente lo ha probado todo, pero justo cuando ha agotado todas sus opciones para esconderlo y está a punto de tirar la toalla, una tortuga llamada Cyrus le ayuda a comprender que su cuello tiene un propósito y que es perfecto tal y como es. Los problemas de Jirafa trata, con mucho sentido del humor, de la importancia de aceptarnos a nosotros mismos y de la amistad incondicional.
